Have you always wanted to learn how to crochet, but didn't know where to start? Or maybe you're looking for a new hobby that's relaxing, creative, and rewarding? If so, this workshop is for you!
Join in at Wiper and True, a local brewery and taproom, for a fun and friendly introduction to the granny square technique. Granny squares are the building blocks of many crochet projects, from cosy blankets and cushions to stylish scarves and bags. They're easy to learn, versatile, and colourful - perfect for beginners and experts alike.
In this workshop, you'll learn how to make a classic granny square using different stitches, colours, and patterns. You'll also get tips on how to join your squares and create your own designs. By the end of the session, you'll have a beautiful granny square to take home, and the confidence to start your own crochet adventure.

I became obsessed with crochet at university and have since expanded my skills into knitting and sewing. My favourite style is free-form crochet, but I also enjoy creating wearable items through knitting and sewing. I bring my skills and knowledge to assist you in making your own crochet designs, all within a relaxed, informal environment that nurtures your creativity. I hope you leave my workshops obsessed with crafting as I am!
