Yoga, Massage & Sound Ceremony

1 hr 30 mins
(11)

Looking for a wholesome way to start off your weekend, nourish your body and soul? This relaxing workshop uses yoga, aromatherapy, massage, singing bowls, and guided meditation to put you into a deep state of relaxation.

After a short gentle yin yoga practice choose between a short facial massage or acupressure foot massage treatment while you lie down with a group and follow a guided yoga nidra meditation (with an option to use a shakti mat).

Acupressure foot massage foot massage is a type of therapy that uses gentle pressure on specific points along your feet to ease stress and help your body feel better. Facial massage helps promote healthy skin while relaxing your facial muscles. It has a relaxing and rejuvenating effect, helping you look and feel better.

Singing bowls will be placed on your body. The vibrations of the bowls are felt within our bodies and energy fields and guide the brain into meditative alpha and theta waves of deep relaxation and a healing state.

During this 90-minute workshop you will experience:

  • Guided meditation to balance your body's energy centres
  • Short foot massage treatment or facial massage
  • Short singing bowls massage with bowls placed on your body
  • Sound bath with gongs and chimes
  • Aromatherapy with a selected blend of essential oils
  • Option to use a Shakti mat for an added acupressure benefit

This practice promotes better well-being, stress reduction, improved sleep, and many other reported health benefits.

Please avoid sound therapy if you are pregnant, have epilepsy, have a heart pacemaker, coronary stent, cardiac shunt, artificial heart valves, implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD), new metal inserts, implants, or staples. Some people may experience headaches as a result of feeling vibrations.
