Date Night Soap Making

Date nights should be special, but sometimes we can find ourselves always doing the same thing for them. Maybe you're after a different kind of date night? Something unusual, fun and exciting that will leave you smelling as sweet as honey - interested?

In this experience, discover traditional soap making with Margaret May Soaps. Hosted by local maker Karen, in her home workshop, you'll learn how traditional handmade soaps are created before making your own.

Karen will show you how to make soap using high-quality ingredients and traditional processes. Next, you’ll roll up your sleeves and create your own soaps using a recipe rich in coconut oil and vitamin E. (All the good moisturing stuff.) You’ll finish up with your own honey and oatmeal soap ‘loaf’ to take home - which you can slice into 5-6 soaps to enjoy afterwards, or give away as presents. That's several of your Christmas presents now sorted!

Karen will provide drinks of your choice and cake. If its good weather, you'll even be able to relax in Karen's beautiful garden, with fairy lights and the cosy chiminea. This will be one delightful date night to remember.
