EmailNew to hand-printing and want to learn how to print with lino? Want to spend a couple of hours immersed in a creative pursuit?
This is an experience suited to beginners. Whether you're after a fun activity to do with friends, or an opportunity to make a meaningful gift, look no further.
Join printmaker Shannon of Paige & Wynter for a lino printing workshop.
She will guide you through the basics of mark-making on lino, creating a design, and applying it to textiles. You'll leave the workshop with a beautiful design printed onto a tote bag! Kids attending can use print foam to avoid using sharp tools. Simply indent or emboss your design with a pencil or other slightly pointed object!
What's included:
- Access to cutting tools
- A few squares of lino/print foam,paint, and a tote bag
- Some tasty soft drinks
- Expert guidance and instruction
Feel free to bring along any old shirts/bags/fabric you fancy applying a design to. Everybody is welcome, no previous experience is needed, your host will give you all the tips you need.

This was such a fun experience and we came away with a lovely bag which we created ourselves!
It gave us lots of ideas to do more creative projects with Lino printing. Thanks to Shannon for her expertise and giving us a such a great evening.

This was a wonderful way to spend a crafty evening, and the instructor was really clear, helpful and fun!
My only complaint is i feel it should have been at least 2 hours in order to avoid feeling rushed with completing the main design.
But overall fab!! 😁

Paige & Wynter
Paige and Wynter is run by Shannon, a printmaker and creative based in Bristol. She completed the Year in Printmaking and Textiles Design at Spike Island in 2020 and hasn't stopped printing since. Her favourite printing medium is linocut; an accessible and beautiful way to express ideas that can be placed on paper or fabric.
Paige and Wynter offers dynamic and exciting workshops to suit everyone. During particular seasons you can find the ever popular wreath experiences. Or why not try your hand at silk painting? There is no other host that offers a botanical silk painting class where the art is mounted on a lovely bamboo frame!
Shannon is also a bath bomb enthusiast, and would love to teach you all about them. Ever wondered what goes into a bath bomb to make it fizz? Think you can make a better bath bomb than Lush can? Come join the workshop!
There is always a welcoming and joyful atmosphere at the Paige and Wynter experiences. Its a space to unwind, have a laugh and try something new.
