Make your own Cyanotype Christmas Baubles

Create your own unique botanical baubles this Christmas. We’ll be using plywood and the cyanotype process to make some beautiful festive baubles. Each bauble can be adored with shiny silver and gold pens and a ribbon of your choice, ready for gifting to a loved one this Christmas or popping straight on your tree.

Discover the magic of cyanotypes this Christmas; a beautiful photographic process that uses sunlight to create stunning Prussian blue images. Enjoy access to Fiona’s dried flower and leaf collection to create your very own botanical artworks using this magical process.

Join us for a relaxed, experimental 2-hour session where you’ll hear a little of the history of cyanotypes, follow a step-by-step demonstration of the process, and then have plenty of time to create your own cyanotypes.

It's a great chance to try something new, spend time with friends, and take away beautiful pieces for your home or to share with loved ones. You will be supported by Fiona throughout, who’s calm and friendly approach will give you confidence to experiment with this technique.

• Participants will be able to make up to 6 baubles during the session.

• Suitable for beginners as well as those with more experience. You’ll be gentled guided throughout the session, with Fiona on hand for advice or to answer any questions.

• No previous experience is required, making this a great opportunity to enjoy trying a new creative process in a friendly and supportive environment.
