Get creative with beautiful, natural, plant based ingredients in this family friendly lip balm making workshop with Chloe, founder of The Bristol Soap Company.
In this relaxed and creative session, you'll learn how to make your own natural, plant based lip balms from scratch using nourishing plant oils, butters, waxes, and essential oils. You'll create your own unique recipe, blending and pouring your balms with your choice of beautiful natural ingredients.
Together, you'll decorate and personalise your lip balm labels and packaging, ready to take your handmade creations home to enjoy yourself or give as thoughtful gifts.
This experience is designed for both grown ups and kids to enjoy together. No previous craft experience is needed - just bring your creativity and enthusiasm!
Children of any age are welcome as long as they can follow the instructions and are able to use the equipment safely - we will be using a heat source to melt the balms.
Each pair will take home 10 x 10ml pots of your handmade lip balm, along with a guide featuring ingredient information, a recipe template, and your personalised recipe, to help you recreate your balms at home using simple equipment you likely already have.
Complimentary drinks and snacks will be provided to keep the creative energy flowing.
Come along, get making, and take home beautifully nourishing lip balms made together!

We’ll be working with plant oils and butters, which can stain clothing. We recommend wearing clothes you won’t mind getting the odd splash on.
