Make and Mingle: Knit, Crochet or Punch Needle

The Make and Mingle social is a relaxed evening dedicated to making, connecting, and sharing. Whether you are an experienced knitter or just curious about the hype around crafting, this is a space where crafters of all levels come together over good company and good yarn. Come as you are, bring a project or bring nothing at all.

Knit, crochet, or try punch needle for the first time using our practice materials. Bring along any scraps or yarn you want to swap, pick up tips from fellow makers, and spend an evening doing what you love with people who get it.

This is not a class. There is no agenda, no pressure, and no experience needed. This is for the love of making or a curiosity to try.

You'll be hosted by

Maya (She/Her)

I became obsessed with crochet at university and have since expanded my skills into knitting and sewing. My favourite style is free-form crochet, but I also enjoy creating wearable items through knitting and sewing. I bring my skills and knowledge to assist you in making your own crochet designs, all within a relaxed, informal environment that nurtures your creativity. I hope you leave my workshops obsessed with crafting as I am!
