Make a Textured Ring

Always fancied having a go at silver jewellery making? Come and try this textured ring making workshop! In three hours we will go through the basics of jewellery making learning such skills as: sawing, texturing, soldering, filing, hammering, polishing and ring sizing.

You will be making a textured silver ring, texture on silver looks great and is fun way to experiment with your jewellery making. There will be different widths and shapes of silver wire on hand for you to choose from and some finished examples of textured rings to help you visualise your final ring.

Bex will be on hand to help out at every step along the way and chat all things jewellery! And at the end you have your very own piece of hand crafted contemporary jewellery to take away and treasure!

The workshop is run from Bex’s studio in Chapter Arts Centre in Canton, Cardiff! The workshop is three hours which means we have lots to pack in. Lunch/dinner won’t be provided but some snacks and refreshments will be on hand. Bex will be in touch to enquire about any dietary requirements.

No prior experience is needed.
