Making a Silver Ring

Charlotte was lush. Loved our day, she gave us a lot of freedom to create what we wanted. She taught us a lot as we went and it felt really hands on which was great. Would recommend to anyone

I went with my 16 year old daughter and it was the most amazing class! A much better birthday gift for her than buying a piece of jewellery.

Charlotte is an excellent teacher and guide. We made three stack rings and one statement ring, each using different methods so we could try a variety of processes and tools.

The entire experiences was fun and educational, never a dull moment! And we have four truly stunning rings to take home.

The Studio is difficult to find and there’s little parking, but this is more than made up for by the whole creative experience. Charlotte has a very relaxed approach but is determined to get the best result her student is capable of. At the end of the day I came back with a beautiful ring but also a greater insight into silversmithing. Had a great day.

The course is a great way to explore any interest in making silver jewellery. Having 1:1 tuition means you are free to ask questions, try a range of techniques and not feel time pressured. I left the day feeling inspired to learn more and proud of the 3 silver stacking rings I’d created with professional guidance from Charlotte.

I had such a great time! Charlotte was friendly and welcoming. She taught and helped me through the whole process from silver wire through shaping, hammering, cutting, filing, soldering and polishing. I was so delighted to leave with my rings all shiny and beautiful at the end of the day. Such a great experience. Thoroughly recommended.

My making a silver ring experience was brilliant. Charlotte was an excellent teacher, making sure I was supported in the design and making of my rings and guiding me through the different stages. She was extremely knowledgable and was also really great company! I’m so pleased with my rings and have been impressed with the quality of them. I would recommend this experience to everyone and can’t wait to make more jewellery in the future!
