Come and make your very own handcrafted ceramic mug with Pottymouth Workshop at The Old Market Assembly!

Join ceramicists Naomi Stokes and Meredith Mason in this beautiful venue like no other for a fun hands-on pottery workshop in the very heart of Old Market.

You'll be guided step-by-step through the process of making your own slab-built ceramic mug. You don't need any previous clay experience as everything will be fully explained on the day.

What to expect:

  • Learn the fundamentals of slab-building pottery
  • Make your own clay mug with the help of professional ceramicists
  • Collect your mugs 2-4 weeks later after they've been fired and glazed

After a brief demonstration from your experts, you'll be left to flex your new skills! Practise the fundamentals of slab building: rolling out clay, slip and scoring, and decorative techniques to finish off with your personal and unique design.

Enjoy the local craft beers, diverse wines or spirits with 10% off all ticket holders! Get creative in this inclusive safe space for all to feel welcome!

Your finished item will be left with your hosts who will fire and glaze your work. You will be contacted to collect your mugs from your host within 4-5 weeks.
