They're especially passionate about welcoming beginners into the world of ceramics and sharing the joy of making with others.
Kate is the newest member of our team, joining us fresh from completing her ceramics degree at Cardiff Met. With a deep and thoughtful understanding of clays and glazes, she brings both technical skill and artistic insight to her practice. Proficient in wheel work and handbuilding, Kate’s true passion lies in creating intricate, realistic sculptural pieces that explore fine art concepts. Already highly praised by students and staff alike, we’re thrilled to have her on board.
Lucy is a long-time ceramics teacher with years of experience guiding students across both Bristol and London. Equally skilled in wheel-throwing and handbuilding, her work is known for its elegant curves and rich, earthy glazes. With a background in environmental work, Lucy often brings her creativity to festivals, weaving together art, play, and sustainability.
