What you'll do

Join Pottymouth at Kiln this Halloween season for a spooky pottery workshop treat!

In this special pottery experience, you'll make your own gothic-style candlestick out of clay.

Your hosts are ceramicists Naomi and Meredith, who will take you under their wings (or cloaks!) and show you how to conjure up a candlestick entirely from scratch.

In this experience, you will:

  • Learn basic slab building techniques, with handy demonstrations
  • Be guided on how to make your candlestick out of clay
  • Be given inspiration and tips for decorating
  • Jazz up your candlestick by adding coloured slip and spooky motifs!

Let your creativity flow this season and leave with a candlestick worthy of any horror movie set or Halloween party!

Your finished item will be left with your hosts to be fired and glazed. Your candlestick will be ready for collection 2-3 weeks after the experience.

This workshop is BYOB. You're welcome to bring your own refreshments with you.
