Make a copper bowl with The Silver Duck

Want to dip your toes into the world of jewellery making? Or fancy being a silversmith? You’re just in luck.

Your host Charlotte, an award-winning silversmith, independent creator and the owner of The Silver Duck, is offering a fantastic taster workshop which will teach you how to make your very own copper bowl.

In this two day workshop you will learn all about the process of raising and how to form a flat sheet of copper into a bowl. Discover everything you need to know about planishing using hammers and stakes. Charlotte has heaps of knowledge on how to make seriously impressive things with copper and she'll be sharing it all with you!

She will introduce you to the world of silversmithing, revealing all the best tricks in the book. Charlotte isn't just a gifted silversmith, but her unique teaching techniques help her guests to develop their own talents and truly thrive. Under Charlotte’s guidance, you’ll make a beautiful bowl at the end of the two days to keep, using traditional tools and techniques. You’ll also make your own ring as well. Pretty impressive stuff!
