Join Pottymouth ceramicists Meredith Mason and Naomi Stokes at the delightful Crafty Egg, Fishponds and make your own festive pottery decoration. This pottery making class is the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit with some Christmas crafting!
You will be guided through all the stages of creating your own clay bauble, a lovely artisanal ornament with a personal touch. A perfect time to get together with friends, family and coworkers to try your hand at pottery!
You'll be creating your own unique clay Christmas decoration, that can be brought out year after year. Once the piece is formed, you can spend time adding extra elements and decorating the clay surface with colourful slips provided or adding further textures.
What to expect:
This workshop is suitable for all levels of experience. You're encouraged to come along with an open mind and playfulness to really make the most of this unique approach to making.
Your finished item will be left with your hosts who will fire and glaze your work, ready for collection 2-4 weeks later.

Meredith is a ceramicist specialising in handbuilding with 3 years of teaching experience. She enjoys exploring clay techniques such as coiling, pinch pots and slab building. Bringing these techniques to a variety of workshops, Meredith aims to share her love of the clay world by guiding you through the process of handmade forms.
Naomi is an expert potter with three years teaching experience. Naomi mostly works on the potter's wheel, but has recently reignited her love for hand building. Her aim is to help people realise their ideas in clay. Naomi will be on hand during the whole experience to give advice, support and plenty of encouragement.
