Make a Ceramic Jug at Wiper & True

Join us for a relaxed and creative pottery workshop in Bristol, where you’ll design and make your own spring-inspired ceramic jug using a slab-building pottery technique. Perfect for complete beginners, this friendly session will guide you step by step through constructing a functional jug ideal for holding fresh flowers or serving sauces.

You’ll personalise your piece using a variety of textures and stamps, then explore pottery painting techniques with coloured slips to add decorative patterns and springtime details to the surface. No previous pottery experience is needed — just come ready to get creative.

The workshop takes place in a cosy pub setting, making it a sociable and laid-back way to try pottery. As an added bonus, enjoy 15% off drinks all night long while you create.

Once finished, your jug will be left with us to be professionally fired and glazed. Your completed ceramic piece will be ready to collect approximately 4 weeks later from our Bedminster studio.
