Celebrate Mother’s Day with creativity, connection and clay at our special Bud Vase Pinch Pot Workshop hosted at Boston Tea Party. Whether you’re planning thoughtful Mother’s Day activities, searching for unique Mother’s Day events near you, or simply fancy a relaxing creative session, this hands-on pottery workshop is the perfect way to spend your day.
During the session, you’ll learn how to hand-build your own beautiful bud vase completely from scratch using the traditional pinch pot technique. We’ll guide you step by step as you shape your clay, refine your form, and explore a variety of textures and decorative techniques to create a truly personal design. Add pattern, imprint meaningful words, carve details or sculpt decorative elements — your vase will be entirely unique.
At the end of the workshop, you’ll choose from three lovely glaze finishes, which we’ll professionally apply for you before firing. Your finished piece will be kiln-fired and ready to collect after approximately four weeks from our studio at Windmill Hill City Farm — a beautiful keepsake to treasure or gift.
The bar will be open for drinks throughout the workshop.
