You will be guided through all the stages of the creating your own clay bauble, the perfect artisanal ornament with a personal touch. A perfect time to get together with friends, family and co-workers to try your hand at pottery!
Creating your own unique clay Christmas decoration, that can be brought out year after year. Once the piece is formed, you can spend time adding extra elements and decorating the clay surface with colourful slips provided or adding further textures.
This workshop is suitable for all levels of experience. You're encouraged to come along with an open mind and playfulness to really make the most of this unique approach to making.

This all-inclusive ceramics class in Bristol provides everything you need – clay, tools, tuition, and firing. Your finished piece will be ready for collection in approximately 4 weeks.

Meet Charlie, a maker at heart with a background in model making and printing. They've been part of the Pottymouth Workshop team for over a year, where their passion for all things miniature and quirky shines through in their ceramics. Charlie’s love of novelty objects and tiny details gives their work a playful, distinctive edge. They're especially passionate about welcoming beginners into the world of ceramics and sharing the joy of making with others.
Kate is the newest member of our team, joining us fresh from completing her ceramics degree at Cardiff Met. With a deep and thoughtful understanding of clays and glazes, she brings both technical skill and artistic insight to her practice. Proficient in wheel work and handbuilding, Kate’s true passion lies in creating intricate, realistic sculptural pieces that explore fine art concepts. Already highly praised by students and staff alike, we’re thrilled to have her on board.
Lucy is a long-time ceramics teacher with years of experience guiding students across both Bristol and London. Equally skilled in wheel-throwing and handbuilding, her work is known for its elegant curves and rich, earthy glazes. With a background in environmental work, Lucy often brings her creativity to festivals, weaving together art, play, and sustainability. Her warm, grounded approach makes her a favourite among learners and collaborators alike.
