What you'll do

Immerse yourself into the playful world of lino printing in this fun masterclass. This versatile style of relief printing is made for beginners. Bristol Print Collective's Victoria Willmott will be taking you under her wing. This experienced maker will show you how to create bold, striking and powerful prints synonymous with this style.

Discover how to design a linocut block, develop your own design and produce unique limited edition prints. Victoria will cover the basics of designing your print, carving, shading, getting familiar with your tools, and everything you need to take your lino prints to the next level. Some inspiration will be provided on the day, but feel free to bring along anything that's already caught your eye.

This masterclass will be held in a spacious room at The Chocolate Factory in Centrespace Studios - home to over 30 artist studios in Bristol's Old City. You'll almost feel the creativity bouncing off the walls. Plenty of tea and biscuits will be provided, otherwise known as the printmaker's fuel!
