Lebanese Fundraising Feast for BHN at Lido

This is a fundraising event for Bristol Hospitality Network (BHN) which is a member-led organisation that works to support refugees and asylum seekers in the UK.

This unique culinary experience is hosted by Moveable Feast which is Bristol Hospitality Network's social enterprise arm. The profit from Moveable Feast activities goes back to benefiting BHN members.

Moveable Feast offers BHN members and refugees the chance to connect with UK citizens, improve skills for integration and employment, and feel less lonely and more a part of the community.

Food & drink

• The Menu will include a variety of 22 authentic dishes, some of which you will not have tried before.
• Enjoy a range of salads, cold and hot mezze, a main and dessert.
• Dishes include: hommous, taboule, kebbeh, and mini manakich.
• A welcome drink is also be included.

Live music from The Bristol Griot Duo

Kora flugel horn and percussion

Moussa Kouyate is a kora player and griot. His style of playing is fireside-soulful, blending the traditional with Spanish Reggae and jazz influences.

David Mowat stalwart Bristol trumpeter met Moussa 15 years ago and has gigged with him frequently. David is a well-known supporter of refugee rights in Bristol and curates the world music monthly concerts at the Cotham Club.
