EmailJoin Chloe, founder of The Bristol Soap Company, for a relaxed and creative workshop where you'll learn how to make your own natural, plant-based, luxury lip balms from scratch. Explore a variety of plant oils, butters, waxes, and essential oils, and develop your own unique recipe tailored to your preferences.
You’ll take home 10 x 10ml pots of your handmade balm – perfect for personal use or as lovely gifts for friends and family. You’ll also get to decorate and personalise your own labels, adding a special touch to each jar.
This workshop is designed so you can recreate your recipes at home using simple equipment you likely already have. Whether you come on your own or with friends, it’s the perfect opportunity to relax, learn, and create.
The session also includes a take-home guide with ingredient information, your personalised recipe, and a template to inspire future creations.
Complementary homemade cakes and drinks will be served during the session.
This experience takes place in the stunning surroundings of Westonbirt Arboretum, offering a truly beautiful and memorable setting.

On the day
We’ll be working with plant oils and butters, which can stain clothing. We recommend wearing clothes you won’t mind getting the odd splash on.
There is parking at the Arboretum. Please allow time to walk from the car park to the entrance.

Chloe is the founder of The Bristol Soap Company, based in Easton Bristol, where she handcrafts luxury, natural, and ethically made cosmetics, soaps, and skincare gifts.
Inspired by a love of high-quality, sustainable products and concern for the planet and people, she started the business in 2018 while pregnant with her first child.
Alongside running her company, Chloe is a mum of two and runs a local charity. She is passionate about using plant-based, natural ingredients that are kind to both skin and the environment.
Chloe now also runs creative, hands-on workshops to share her knowledge and passion for making natural skincare. These sessions offer people the chance to gather together for a lovely experience, learn new skills, develop their own recipes, and create beautiful products to take home - encouraging more conscious choices in self-care.
