Really relaxing and helpful introduction to knitting
Very enjoyable
Was great to learn, good instruction, relaxed spacious timings, right level and amount of content and time to practice. Felt great going home having learnt to knit! Will be back
Really lovely evening learning to knit! Jacki was super attentive and helped us all individually which was really useful. Would definitely book her other classes!
I loved this workshop! Jacki is clearly an expert but wears it lightly - she is patient, supportive and offered clear guidance (and was very happy to go over things again when I was struggling). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone who wants to start knitting. I have been practicing and within a day I am already becoming more confident in the basics I learned in the workshop.
Laid back and friendly small group session, learnt to cast on, cast off, knit and purl, just the right amount to get started knitting.
Thank you so much for such a comprehensive intro to knitting! You’re an excellent teacher :)
Good fun
Very helpful! Looking forward to Next Steps class this weekend
Fantastic introduction to knitting, so knowledgeable and very patient! Highly recommend!
Covered the basics and so much more, really helpful and I will be booking the next steps course
Didn't know what to expect, all very informal the host was brilliant - it was all explain in a simple manner to understand, we were not rushed. As a group we all got on and had a laugh at the same time as learning, came away very enthusiastic to start my challenge.
Very friendly and knowledgeable host, Jacki. Well paced, relaxed learning experience. Cosy setting with all necessary materials. Looking forward to the next step.
Jacki is excellent and fun as is Meg, the owner of the shop where the course takes place. They gave 30 years’ knitting experience between them and really know their stuff, but they are patient and welcoming to beginners. No question is a stupid one. Loved it!!
I learnt all the basics and feel confident casting in- knitting, purling and casting off. Jacki is a Great tutor and gives friendly, knowledgeable advice. I’m hooked!
Jacki was extremely welcoming. She explained everything clearly and was very patient. I now have the confidence to continue knitting at home but will definitely be booking more courses with Jacki to develop my skills further
It was great. The ladies who ran it were very welcoming and patient. I’m not the quickest learner, but they taught me the first basics of knitting.
I had so much fun learning to knit. Jacki is super friendly and Meg great at explaining all of the yarn. I am so excited to have started my knitting journey.
The host was excellent and gave great instructions.
