Learn to Forage at Radford Mill Organic Farm

This 2.5 hr scenic foraging walk will guide you through all the fundamentals of foraging and help you discover the abundance of fresh greens, edible flowers, herbs and fungi available through the seasons.

Radford Mill Farm is a 115-acre organic farm just outside Bath in the Cam Valley. It is dedicated to sustainable farming in harmony with nature and includes woodlands, species-rich pastures, a river and other water sources, as well as a disused canal and railway line both of which are public access routes and include havens for wildlife and native plants. It’s the ideal spot to come and learn more about how to safely and sustainably forage for wild food and medicine.

Explore this idyllic setting as you discover all that nature has to offer. You’ll be guided through the identification process and given hints and tips on how to use the ingredients you find, as well as learn some fascinating folklore about them.

This walk will help you to connect to the environment around you and empower you to go on and learn more. It will be an exploration of the senses as you discover what is growing around you.
