Yuup | Kids T-Shirt Upcycling Workshop - Sustainable Fashion

Upcycle a pre-loved t-shirt in this crafty workshop by Sustainable Fashion Week and Children's Scrapstore! Alter the look of your t-shirt by cutting, weaving, sewing, embellishing, and decorating.

Bring along an old T-shirt, they can be plain, patterned or with a logo you want to cover or remove! Your hosts will provide a range of fabric and embellishments, as well as some spare T-shirts if you don’t have one.

Most of the materials are being reused, they have come from Children’s Scrapstore so have been saved from landfill! The techniques and ideas can all be used with other garments. You will have access to all of the equipment that you need to get creative and make a new look.

Suitable for beginners.

On the day

WHAT TO BRING: Bring an old t-shirt that you are happy to cut, sew & transform! We will also have spares.

HOW TO FIND THE WORKSHOP: Head to the SPARKS project in the old Marks & Spencers building in Broadmead. The workshop will be on the Ground Floor, outside the 'Department of Discovery'. Head to the middle of the Ground Floor - you'll see the Scrapstore tables next to the main walkthrough.

Please arrive between 11am - 2pm - allowing 1 hour for the workshop.
