Bring your child or teen along to this fun Christmas craft workshop at Flourish in Saltford, where they'll learn how to make their own fabric wreath in a friendly and supportive environment with sewing teacher and workshop facilitator Lauren Holloway.

The perfect beginner-friendly workshop to get into the festive spirit and let their creative energy flow! This craft experience is a great idea if you're looking for Christmas craft ideas or a children's activity in and around Bristol & Bath.

What to expect:

• Using a 10-inch wire frame, they'll construct their wreath using a large selection of pre-cut Christmas-themed fabrics, ribbons, and seasonal embellishments.

• At the end of the session, they'll go home with a beautiful wreath made to last for years to come!

Join us for a memorable session filled with crafting, laughter, and the satisfaction of creating something special for the holidays. Suitable for children from 7 years old, no experience needed.

If you cannot make the date at Flourish I am also running two sessions at my studio Creative Space in Staple Hill, dates are: Thursday 27th November, 4:30-6pm and Saturday 6th December 3:30pm-5pm.

Lauren Holloway

Designer and Maker Lauren Holloway has been running her own slow-fashion handbag and accessory brand since 2013. Lauren specialises in making sustainable bags, purses, laptop cases and toiletry storage, all handcrafted in her Bristol-based studio. She has extensive knowledge and experience in designing patterns and sewing anything from coin purses to backpacks. Lauren offers a range of sewing workshops from beginner to intermediate level, where participants can learn the basics of using a domestic sewing machine, brush up on existing sewing skills or develop new techniques to improve their craft. You’ll leave the workshop with new-found knowledge and inspiration for future projects plus you’ll take home a beautiful handmade bag you can enjoy for years to come.
