Learn the art of screen printing in a fun, hands-on, one day workshop where you'll use real, studio equipment and take home your own prints — no experience needed.
Join us at Print Paradiso's creative studio for a hands-on workshop designed for beginners, where you'll be guided step-by-step through the process of creating a two-colour print on A2-sized paper.
What's Included:
An introduction to screen printing and its creative potential
A tour of the studio and the equipment you'll be using
The opportunity to work on your own prints with expert guidance
Pre-prepared designs available if you'd like to focus on the process

By the end of the day, you'll take home your own print edition and a clear understanding of how to turn your ideas into screen-printed artwork.
The workshop is designed to be relaxed and fun — with tea, coffee, and biscuits to keep things casual. Plus, there'll be plenty of time for questions, discussion, and hands-on practice.

The studio is at 137 East Street in the old Stan Butts butchers shop. For parking, you will find the best chance of free parking on: St John’s St, Church Rd, New John St, or British Rd. The studio is a bit cold at the moment, so I recommend you have on a few layers to give yourself a warm start. When printing, you'll warm up. We'll have a lunch break midday. There are plenty of places around here that you can eat, or if you want to bring your own food, you're welcome to stay in the studio
