Learn the fundamentals of silversmithing in a warm, supportive environment designed especially for beginners. Over six weekly sessions, you’ll build core skills step by step, starting with copper before progressing to silver.
Each week focuses on a key technique, with plenty of hands-on practice and guidance throughout:
Week 1: Sawing practice and tool handling
Week 2: Personal project development
Week 3: Soldering, jump rings and bales — you’ll finish the session with a completed pendant
Week 4: Ring-making in copper or brass
Week 5: Silver ring-making — take home your own finished silver ring
Week 6: Personal project and skill consolidation
All materials are included, along with supporting handouts. Silver is charged separately by weight.
If you’d like this to sound more beginner-focused, more skills-led, or more outcome-driven, I can tweak the tone or layout further.
Your booking date is Week 1, and the course runs weekly from then.
