The Bristol Improv Theatre is the UK's first theatre space dedicated to improvised work. Established in 2017, this young theatre puts on exciting shows, a range of classes and opportunities to join in with the improvising community.
During the pandemic, the theatre has shifted its focus to online classes and experiences. As the country opens back up, they are planning on returning in person through a range of outdoor experiences and shows where social distancing is not only accepted but embraced.
Stephen Clements has been improvising for twelve years and teaching for seven. He is a founder and trustee of the Bristol Improv Theatre, where he is Games Master for their cult hit, 'Tales of Adventure'. Stephen is also a founding member of Degrees of Error Theatre Company and helped to create their flagship show 'Murder, She Didn't Write'.
Stephen performs regularly with Tally Ho productions in 'Steves and Wooster' and 'Holy Unauthorised Improvised Parody, Batman!'. Stephen also holds a PGCE in mathematics.
