So many of us share this experience every month and for over half our lives, without really knowing what’s going on behind the scenes. It’s time to put this right and empower yourself with knowledge which will change your life.

Your hosts Nikki and Kate are seasoned wellbeing practitioners, who will guide you through menstrual charting. How Am I?’s beautifully illustrated charting book will be your other companion for this experience. Your lovely hosts will introduce you to everything you need to know about it, alongside the four seasons of nature.

Spanning over 12 full cycles, their charting book encourages gentle observations each day across several areas: the quality of your sleep and dreams, your physical and emotional energy, your creativity, the food and drink you consume, and where the moon is. For the first time see how all these elements align in a truly profound way.

With the findings you uncover in this experience, you will be able to navigate your own health and wellbeing with deeper clarity than ever before. This is an opportunity to bring fresh mindfulness into your days, as you move through each month. Your hosts

Nikki Berridge

Nikki is one half of How Am I? She's previously worked as an auxiliary nurse at Bristol Royal Infirmary and is a qualified masseuse.

Once Nikki discovered the ancient art of traditional Thai massage and its roots in Buddhism, philosophy and mindfulness, she decided this would become one of her main areas of study. She has now honed her craft for over 20 years, working for individual clients and businesses, in addition to teaching across the South West.

For the last ten years, Nikki has studied western folk herbal medicine. Through her studies, her fascination with the female body began. Nikki believes understanding the menstrual cycle can have profound effects on our physical, emotional and mental health.

Nikki recently became a Girls Celebration Day facilitator. She works with girls aged 10-12, fighting the shame and stigma around a girl's first bleed. Her next adventure is going to be collaborating with Kate on wellbeing books.

Kate Penning

Kate is the other half of How Am I? She's a mindfulness & yoga practitioner, author, actor and all-around lover of life. Holistic approaches to wellbeing run through everything she does.

Kate has been writing children's books for the past five years about mindfulness and community living. Her next project is collaborating on a female charting book with Nikki.

Kate works with Nikki facilitating Celebration Day for Girls. Here, she helps fight the taboo of young girls beginning their menstrual cycle and reframes it as an empowering experience.
