What's hot yoga?

Hot yoga is a type of yoga performed under hot and humid conditions. Classes' sauna-like environment gives guests a more intense workout, as they work up a real sweat.

Benefits can include:

  • Increased lung capacity
  • Burning more calories - the heat can make fat-burning more effective
  • Lowering stress levels
  • Regulating blood sugar levels
  • Boosting heart health

Not suitable for:

  • Total yoga beginners - your host recommends trying a non-heated class first
  • Under 18-year-olds, if you're pregnant, less than six weeks post-natal, have high blood pressure, a heart condition, osteoporosis or a disc-related back issue
  • Always consult your doctor or physical therapist before starting a new form of exercise

Minimum fitness level required.
