Haunted & Hidden Bristol Walk & Pub Stop

I booked this for a friend's birthday and having mentioned this on the booking form, John provided a birthday gift for her which was unexpected and very much appreciated. Besides that, the tour was informative and interesting and John was great to talk to. Overall definitely recommend this if you want to learn a little more about historical locations in central Bristol.

We had a great evening with John, and very much thank him for coming out to do the tour in the rain! He is very knowledgeable about Bristol, and we learned some interesting things about our home town!! Thank you again John :)

We had such a fantastic time on the Haunted and Hidden tour of Bristol with John! He was an incredibly knowledgeable and engaging guide, and we learned so many fascinating things about the city’s history! Highly recommend this tour for both locals and visitors.

Excellent walk by John who was knowledgeable, informative and funny. Great stories told with a passion. Only thing I would change is the pub where we stopped for a drink.

Very informative and interesting

Had no idea what to expect from this tour, but it didn't disappoint ... From start to finish we were totally enthralled by the 'ghostly goings-ons' around Bristol. Heard all about the pirates that used to hide in the area, and all about the grim happenings that led to various hauntings ... Not to mention learning all about various filming locations and finding places in Bristol that we never even knew existed. Many thanks to John for a wonderful and spooky evening. Highly recommend.

The guide had lots of great anecdotes and the tour included plenty of interesting historical facts & tales about the famous people who had visited, lived & died in various locations. And some of the ghost stories were truly ghastly! I really felt that he pitched the material well for a group with both long-term locals & first-time visitors.

An amazing tour around haunted and historical spots in Bristol. Our guide was hugely knowledgeable and it made us feel like tourists in our own city! Will definitely be recommending this to others and finding out more about local history.

My partner and I really enjoyed this experience. The tour delivered a great deal of historical knowledge. including events from hundreds of years ago, and connexions with a host of more modern artists. The host was brilliant. He was factual, interactive and very informative. His delivery was funny where appropriate, interactive and cheerful.
I would not hesitate to recommend this tour to any resident, or any visitor to Bristol. Excellent value.

The tour was really good fun. John was vey knowledgeable and had plenty of stories! Having lived in Bristol nearly all my life, I was surprised to learn about new places, or landmarks that o hadn’t really noticed before. We really enjoyed it and I’d recommend it as a great evening out!

This is an extremely interesting trip with loads of facts about Bristol. Some ghost stories were included but in essence it is more of a historical tour, still very enjoyable and John has extensive knowledge so would recommend it.
