You’ll go back in time to discover the many haunted buildings around Bristol's Old City, including a 16th century church guarded by a ghostly monk, the UK's most haunted cinema, and a 17th century Inn haunted by a poltergeist. As you make your way around the oldest part of Bristol your host, John, will also be sharing plenty of secrets about Bristol’s most iconic buildings.
Halfway through your experience you’ll stop for a well earned drink at a haunted pub (outdoors during covid restriction period) before heading off to explore more of hidden Bristol. Your walk will also feature many TV and film locations including Skins, Being Human, Poldark, Only Fools and Horses, Dr Who and many more!

John has hosted the Haunted and Hidden Walk for 16 years, and has made TV appearances on Most Haunted, The Source and Made in Bristol. He has a whole host of stories about the city, having also run walking tours about both Clifton and Old Market and spent time working on private tours of TV locations for the Bristol Open Top tour bus. As was as running Haunted and Hidden, John also managed local bands in Bristol for over 30 years and promoted various shows too. 2020 saw the release of a book of his time with local band FAB 208.
