Green Bristol: Urban Nature Walking Tour

Welcome to Bristol: Green Capital of Britain, jewel of the West Country and (probably) the best of British cities today. There’s so much to explore here: including gorgeous green spaces that are not only good for a picnic but also the key to understanding Bristol’s chequered past and it’s world-famous culture today.

On this Urban Nature walking tour, you’ll get to know Bristol intimately through the green-tinted lens of it’s best natural places throughout the city centre. Expect stories, works of art and plenty of fun facts: where else are you going to get 10,000 tree species along with protests, pixies and the World’s Biggest Party Gatecrash?

And among the superb sights and terrific trivia, you’ll also connect with some of Bristol’s non-human residents: including plants, trees, birds and waterways. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to get hands-on and interact with the natural world, along with practicing mindfulness and nature awareness techniques to relieve you from a world lived in screens and pinging notifications. Engage your senses, follow your curiosity and let nature work its magic on you!

Entertaining and educational in equal measure, this walking tour is perfect for a ‘Bristol day out’ or as a fun activity for visitors. Whether you’re a lifelong Bristolian or just here for a holiday, this is a brilliant way of getting to know the secrets of this fascinating city while connecting with nature at the same time.
