Gourmet hike and dine picnic

What you'll do

Prepare for a picnic like no other. Your food pilgrimage begins here…

Gourmet hike and dine connoisseurs Picnic Pilgrims have created a ten-mile circular hike that takes in south Bristol’s stunning countryside while working up an appetite. Your hiking host Dan will guide you, as you stroll alongside streams, through picturesque villages and over rolling hills, experiencing some of the most spectacular views in the whole county.

Along the way you will pause for food - a morning break for ‘elevenses’ will give you a chance to have a breather and admire the sublime scenery. All with a cup of freshly-brewed coffee and a piece of cake in hand - what a picture!

After taking in more wholesome views on your hike, you’ll soon be ready for your picnic of delights. Think Scotch eggs, chutneys, fresh sourdough, terrines, salads and pork pies. All handmade by Picnic Pilgrim’s resident chef Rich.

Lean back and enjoy these delicious treats, lounging on cosy picnic blankets overlooking Chew Valley. This is a guided walk and picnic which will make foodies and active types dance with joy.

Please note, this experience is both open to public bookings and private group events, so you can settle on the perfect picnic for whichever occasion.
