Gems & Gemmology Workshop

This immersive one-day gemmology workshop offers a clear, practical introduction to the fascinating world of gemstones - perfect for jewellery lovers, makers, collectors, or anyone curious about what really lies beneath the sparkle.

You’ll explore both the science and the story of gemstones, from how they’re formed to how they’re graded, identified, and responsibly sourced. Guided by an experienced tutor, you’ll gain hands-on experience using key gemmologist tools, learning how professionals assess and distinguish different stones.

Throughout the day, you’ll examine a wide range of gemstones up close, deepening your understanding of their properties and characteristics. You’ll also have the opportunity to purchase ethically sourced stones, should you wish to begin or expand your own collection.
