I was worried that this was going to be a bit “woo” for me, and it was a bit “out there”, but it was also really lovely, empowering, supportive, encouraging, freeing. It was great to be in a group of women, drumming with our hearts and souls. The host was friendly and welcoming and encouraging throughout. The location is great- brilliant for parking and the goddess temple itself feels very nurturing and spiritual.

It was truly wonderful, I left feeling lighter and filled with so much joy and warmth. Can't wait for the next one!

Ruth is an excellent host creating a safe space for everybody. Highly recommended I felt very variable going as I’m going through some life challenges, but felt completely safe in the space.

It's a beautifully held space where all is welcome, freedom to express and be however you want to be. I was totally hooked after my first session and have been nearly every month for over a year since!

Absolutely fantastic experience! I definitely recommend attending. Ruth is a fantastic space holder, wise, funny, authentic, professional, powerful, graceful and knowledgeable. Relaxed, not overwhelmingly sociable and welcoming atmosphere.

It's hard to put into words as it was such an incredible experience felt in the body and less in the mind. Connecting with other women and being free to express myself through movement, singing and sound felt incredibly healing for me, and just totally fun! I loved it. Thanks Ruth :)

As always, this drumming circle was a very special time. Ruth's words are always so insightful and healing, and the collective drumming of the women present changes things inside of you. We were encouraged to reframe the negative ways we may talk to ourselves and use healing, valuing, and encouraging words. I started the evening with a feeling of "I can't do it, I'm not strong enough" (life, not drumming circle) and ended the evening feeling "I am strong".

I really enjoyed the drumming circle. I was made to feel very welcome and the instructions were clear. It was easy to join in (even though I've never drummed before) but there was no pressure to do anything other than just be. Definitely going again and recommending!

Ruth creates a welcoming, safe space to connect with other women and release your tension in an ancient, primal way. A unique experience in Bristol with like minded people, I'm totally hooked and it's going to be a monthly ritual for me!

Beautiful old building, there is a stair lift. Fantastic 2hrs, where we all enjoy the hypnotic feel of the drum n let ourselves go.

Ive been looking for a womans circle for ages and this was just what I needed.
The group was friendy and welcoming and the drumming was transfornational and really connected us all .
Ruths poetry is really inspiring .

These drumming circles are the best therapy I could wish for. I always feel amazing afterwards, even when I've not been feeling much like it before. I would recommend to anyone.
