Join a meditative walk through the green Frome Valley in north-east Bristol and travel back through its deep history, connecting its rocky past with the river we know today.
Your host Mathilde will walk you through the ancient history of the rocks in this beautiful rewilded valley, placing them in the context of Bristol's geological journey and bringing in the human history of the Snuff Mills area.
This walk will be slow-paced, giving you a chance to pause and breathe in this secluded haven in the city. Your host will lead you in light mindfulness breathing and writing exercises to help connect with the place, though all are optional so you can join in with whatever feels comfortable for you.
The route is a circular one from the Snuff Mills car park. It is mostly flat, with a few small steep sections and the possibility of muddy paths.
As this an outdoor event, the walk might be cancelled in case of really bad weather. Mathilde will be in touch with you to reschedule if this is the case.
