Join Adele for a workshop on free-motion embroidery.

You will learn how to:

• Set up a machine with a free motion foot

• Draw with a sewing machine including tips and techniques

• Add applique fabric parts

• Colour in areas and add textures and details

You'll start with simple line work and progress to creating appliqué flowers. All sewing machines (1 each), sewing equipment, fabrics, inspiration and hoops are provided but feel to bring your own ideas and fabrics if you wish.

Tickets include a hot drink and are held in the lovely workshop space in the Home and Lifestyle centre at Flourish Farmshop near Bath. This workshop is suitable for all abilities and age 14+. Small group size of up to 7 people.

Whether you’re looking to try something new or reconnect with your creativity, my workshops are all about learning, relaxing and enjoying the process.

Adele has been running workshops for several years specialising in free motion embroidery, textiles, ceramics and illustration. Having learnt how to do free motion on her Surface Pattern Design degree she is now keen to share the skills and enjoyment of free motion with others. As a trained Primary School teacher she also runs childrens classes including Art & Yoga Holiday clubs.
