Every experience purchased now supports a local business at this challenging time.
All experiences can be scheduled when you or your gift recipient are ready.
Spend a day immersed in nature, foraging for wild ingredients and then sit back and enjoy a wild tipple!
Your professional forager from Totally Wild UK will explain the culinary uses for the different ingredients found as well as elements of medicinal, cocktail making and preserving techniques.
During your experience you'll discover how to safely identify wild ingredients and even better, how they can be used to create a range of syrups, bitters and infusions for turning into a wide range of cocktails from nettle margaritas to elderflower spritz.
Your experience will last for 3-4 hours and will be held at a beautiful private woodland near Tickenham, near Bristol. Your meeting point will be shared on booking. Please share any dietary requirements after you’ve booked.
Minimum fitness level required.
We will continue to check the UK guidelines and adjust things where necessary, but this workshop will be limited to 15 people and no more that 6 people for each booking. We will stagger cooking so that only a few people are prepping food at any one time and there will be 1.5m+ social distancing. We will be using hand sanitiser any time a hard surface is touched and before and after food prep and eating.
Come along wearing comfortable shoes and appropriate clothes for the weather
Parking is available but make sure you have a designated driver a taxi or bus to get home
You may like to bring something to take notes on – whether that’s your phone, a camera or a notepad. You could even sketch some of the things that you see
Please bring your own hand sanitiser and a drink and snacks to keep you going
Wild Folk puts on creative events in magical green spaces in and around Bristol. The aim is to help people grow their own personal nature connection (whilst improving their general wellbeing) as well as to connect with other ‘wild folk’ to do these activities with. At every event we encourage a sense of community, if only for a few hours. You can expect foraging walks, creative workshops, feasts, storytelling and poetry.
