Food and Comedy at Budō Ba (31 Jan)

Belly Laughs is returning to Bath! Get ready to enjoy a month of surprise comedy gigs set to leave you in stitches, popping up in the best food and drink spots across the city!

This sell-out comedy festival pairs hilarious acts with delicious food, all in the name of supporting independent businesses and raising money for charity. For an added element of surprise, the comedians are kept secret until the night itself - expect a mix of known comics and exciting up-and-coming acts!

Previous big-name acts include Jon Richardson, Abi Clarke, John Robins, Jayde Adams and Joe Wilkinson. The comedians offer their time for free in order to support this amazing event!

Your ticket includes:

  • A rice bowl (your choice from a selection of delicious toppings, including vegetarian options) and Japanese pickles

  • Plus a night of great comedy!

Unfortunately we cannot cater for Gluten Free on this occasion

Budō Ba:

Bath's original Izakaya - a bar serving Japanese bar food, sake, beer, and cocktails. Informal vibe with a punk aesthetic. Indulge in Japanese inspired umami treats, perfectly paired with the coolest sips in Bath.

Izakayas are not restaurants in a traditional western sense; they’re Japanese style pubs for people who love food, music and conversation over a few drinks. We offer a changing seasonal menu of Japanese inspired small plates along with some of the best sake, shochu and Japanese whiskey in Bath and the South-West.

Supporting Julian House:

£10 from every ticket sale goes towards supporting Julian House, who support vulnerable and at-risk people across the South West, including those experiencing homelessness, domestic abuse, refugee resettlement and more.

Age restrictions: 18+

Adult £27
