What to expect:
Your expert hosts will talk you through how to care for your plants throughout the seasons. You will learn a range of helpful tips and tricks, including:
- Why we all need plants in our lives, their benefits for our physical and mental health
- How to get your plants through the Winter with some top tips on seasonal care and some handy do's & don't's
- Rearranging and grouping your plants as the light and temperature changes
- Tips on how to keep your plant pest free
- Q&A session. You will be able to ask your hosts any and all of your plant-related questions, so make sure you bring pictures of any problem plants so that they can offer you tips and advice
- Repotting: Fancy Plants welcomes you to bring a plant to repot to this session. The plant must not exceed 12cm in diameter and they will provide the appropriate compost and pot for repotting. If your plant is larger than this, you're welcome to purchase additional supplies and pay per the scoop. Any questions on this please message the host.
Whether you are an experienced plant parent, or relatively new to the world of houseplants, this workshop is the perfect opportunity to learn from the experts and meet like-minded individuals. On the day
- We advise arriving 5-10 minutes before the session is due to start so you have time to grab a drink and get settled.
- There is on-road parking on the roads behind the shop (Church, Oak, Maple and Ash road for example).
- We have toilet facilities and the workshop is above the shop which is up a flight of stairs.
