Share a little creative quality time with the kids at the Family Pot Painting & Candle Making workshop, with Mooke Handmade.
This special workshop has been devised for families, and their friends, to slow down and get their hands mucky, while focusing on stimulating the senses.
The session will begin with decorating little terracotta pots, using a selection of acrylic paints and posca pens (for those who find brushes too fiddly). This is a lovely opportunity for creativity and imagination to run wild!
After a little snack break - whilst the pots dry - we will then move on to filling the pots with melted wax and a choice of essential oils to produce a beautiful candle that the whole family can enjoy.
As the candles set, we will discuss the ways in which each family can create a special ritual together, for each time they light their candle, thus creating extra connection and intentional quality time amidst the madness of daily life.
Each ticket admits one or two adults and one child who will make one candle together. Please add an additional child ticket for any other child in attendance who will make their own candle.
Children must be accompanied by an adult who will assist them in making the candle.
What to expect:
Age restrictions: 3+
Adult and child ticket (admits one or two adults + one child) | £25 |
Child | £10 |

Very relaxing activity, good company, well led, my kids really enjoyed their morning.
What a wonderful talented young lady, very creative gentle kind with the children they had lots of fun.
I liked the way she explained all aspects of the activity to the children before we began.
She gave them the freedom to use their imagination and creative minds.
The children would have stayed all day.
We will look forward to more bookings with Maria in the future and pass to friends and family.

Maria is a big fan of the natural world and does whatever she can to preserve its splendour. When not making Mooke, Maria enjoys long hikes, running, cycling her bike fast down hills, and having quiet moments to complete puzzles.
