NOTE: an Aerospace Bristol ticket is not required, only a planetarium ticket via Yuup (restaurant and gift shop access is free, with plenty of free parking).

An extra-long planetarium show for families, where you get to ask as many questions as you wish!

Enjoy a guided tour of the current night sky, travel to the International Space Station, handle a famous meteorite from outer space, and learn about the return to the Moon (this year) and preparations to land Starships and humanoid robots on Mars (next year!).

You'll see what life is like for astronauts in space, get a close-up look at their living quarters, and you may even see some shooting stars along the way!

You’ll then be taken on a thrilling ride through the Solar System, where you'll see what our neighbouring planets look like and learn about the incredible forces that shape our Universe.

The Family Planetarium Show with Astronomy Q&A is the perfect way to spend quality time with your loved ones while also learning about the wonders of the Universe. Aimed at ages 6 and older, it's guaranteed to leave everyone with a sense of wonder and awe!

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Audiences sit on foam flooring and adults may wish to bring a cushion. Children age 12 and younger must be accompanied by an adult, and babies in arms go free.

  • The planetarium is dark when displaying the night sky, and the dome fan is a little loud during entry and exit.

  • Moving 360Β° imagery may cause motion sickness. Close your eyes / look away and it will pass.

  • The museum entrance is on Hayes Way (a long road with four roundabouts); and 'Aerospace Bristol' is written on bright red signs, including a large red, pyramid-shaped sign.

  • WHEELCHAIR ACCESS : please contact the host before purchasing tickets so entry can be arranged accordingly.
