This is an amazing tour with an excellent guide who starts up the Victorian machinery together with its belts that transmit power to a working lathe. You also learn about boat repair and the operation of the under fall. Outstanding.
Excellent and very interesting tour.
We had a brilliant tour of Underfall Yard with our engaging and knowledgeable guides Alan and Elaine. I wanted to learn more about the city I live in, and the tour certainly did that. The demo of the Victorian machinery and the explanation of the sluices were great, and you can feel the enthusiasm everyone has for the yard. The cafe provided us with a delicious lunch afterwards too!
Excellent in every way!
wouldn't change a thing
Despite having lived in Bristol for decades, my Dad and I learned so much about the docks - the history, the engineering, etc. It was so informative and our guide was very knowledgeable. I'd highly recommend it!
