Do you love plants and want to learn more about their amazing uses and stories? Join Nicholas, a passionate ethnobotanist, on a fun and informative walking tour of Clifton Village.

You’ll explore the hidden wonders of the plants that grow in your neighbourhood, and how they relate to people and culture. You’ll learn about their medicinal, culinary, historical and magical properties, and even get to taste some herbal remedies along the way.

Whether you’re into gardening, ecology, language or history, you’ll find something to spark your curiosity and appreciation for nature.

This is a unique opportunity to see familiar places from a new and exciting perspective, under the guise of an expert and with the company of other local plant lovers.

Start time: 2 pm Meeting Point: Alderman Proctor's Drinking Fountain, Clifton Down, Bristol BS8 3HT (statue by the junction of Ladies Mile, Clifton Down and Bridge Valley Road). Street parking nearby. Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing.
