EmailCalling all water babies. This is the perfect experience to dip your toes into the world of diving, before taking the full plunge. This Hidden Depths Scuba School experience lets beginners build up their confidence while discovering scuba diving basics.
Before your evening dive begins, a briefing will fill you in with everything you need to know. Once you have a better idea of what to expect, you’ll be taken through the scuba equipment you'll be using. Your experienced host will teach you all about the world of scuba diving and share their enthusiasm.
An introduction to basic diving skills and breathing techniques will get you feeling comfortable. Your host will share the best practices – from mask clearing to how to work with your regulator. You’ll even learn how to communicate underwater with hand signals. That’s pretty cool! This experience creates all the foundations for your diving knowledge before taking it to the next level.
Hidden Depth Scuba School have a strong focus on diving ability and buoyancy control – they believe this makes diving safer and much more fun! All their dive classes can be tailored to all different abilities and ages.
Please note, this experience is restricted to groups of four due to Covid. If you would like to arrange a single-family experience, please reach out before.

On the day
A full dive brief with be given before the session commences. This will cover how to stay safe in the water and which hand signals to use underwater.
Groups are limited to four participants per evening
Participants will need to fill out a medical questionnaire which will be sent to you before this experience
All participants do not need to be strong swimmers but must feel comfortable in the water

Hidden Depths Scuba School
Hidden Depths Scuba School are a full-time diver training centre, PADI Recreational Dive Facility and a TDI Dive Centre. They teach all PADI training courses, from introductory Discover Scuba Dives, all the way up to professional Divemaster courses.

Greg Parker
Greg runs Hidden Depths Scuba School. As a teenager, Greg had his first diving experience on a family holiday to Mauritius – after that, there was no looking back. The next thing he knew, he was getting his dive qualification back in the UK. When Greg wasn’t taking a plunge underwater, he worked at a Bristol dive shop with other instructors. They decided to come together and create Hidden Depths Scuba School. Greg loves the variety of courses his scuba school offers. He finds enjoyment in sharing his enthusiasm for scuba diving and watching others grow.
