Bristol brewery Wiper and True and small plate restaurant Root are delighted to invite you to one very special experience. Get the opportunity to enjoy a delicious five-course dinner served with perfectly paired beers to match each dish.
Hosted in Wiper and True's cosy St Werburghs brewery & taproom, you'll arrive at 6:30PM for a beer straight from the tank - as fresh as you can get it, anywhere in the world. At 7PM you'll sit down to five dreamy courses of seasonal, vegetable-focused cookery, created by one of Bristol's most talented chefs; Rob Howell of Root, Wapping Wharf.
Alongside each course, you'll enjoy a glass of Wiper and True beer, specifically selected by Michael Wiper (founder at Wiper and True) in consultation with chef Rob to amplify the flavours of every dish. You're in for a sensory delight.
The use of seasonal ingredients is a key focus at both Root and Wiper and True, so you can expect perfectly ripe, seasonal ingredients to be the shining stars in this menu. These beautiful ingredients will be cooked to perfection on ceramic Big Green Egg barbecues; beloved by chefs for their versatility and control when cooking outdoors.
Your ticket price includes a welcome drink, five courses, and paired beers served alongside each course.
Your host has worked hard to make this experience as inclusive as possible, therefore three different ticket prices are available. The standard recommended ticket price for the evening is £55, however, if this feels inaccessible to you financially (no questions asked), please choose the £45 or £35 ticket options.
Most dietary requirements can be catered for: please message through the Yuup platform once you've booked your tickets with details. The meal will be served on communal tables.

Wiper and True are an independent craft brewery based in Bristol's St Werburghs. They pride themselves on creating refined and carefully considered beer.
The business was born in 2012, with three friends brewing homebrew beer on their kitchen stovetops. Over the next few years, the friends produced beer nomadically, brewing at other breweries across the country, often over weekends or through the night.
In 2015 Wiper and True built their own brewery in St Werburghs, where they’ve been based ever since, with a small on-site taproom serving some of the city's freshest beers, metres away from where they're brewed. In summer 2022 the team are expanding into an additional bespoke new brewery and taproom in Old Market, Bristol.
