Step into the colourful world of Indian block printing in this hands-on creative workshop. Using traditional hand-carved blocks from Jaipur, you’ll explore this centuries-old craft and design two beautiful printed items to take home.
You’ll begin by learning how to work with the intricate wooden blocks - each one carved from sustainable sheesham wood and rich in history. After a short demonstration, you’ll have the chance to practise your technique before choosing two items to personalise with your own unique prints. Whether you opt for a tote bag, tea towel, or cushion cover, your final creations will be completely bespoke.
This workshop is relaxed, supportive, and beginner-friendly - no experience needed! Your host will be on hand every step of the way to offer guidance, creative tips, and plenty of inspiration.
Warm drinks will be available to keep the creativity flowing, and you’re also welcome to bring your favourite refreshments along if you’d like.
