Creative Writer's Club

In this monthly meet-up for creative writers, we will explore different writing exercises to hone and expand your writing skills.

Each session will start with a fast-paced, fun game of turn-taking, adding a bit more to the story that we develop as we go along. This will be followed by freewriting – a relaxed, flowing warm-up to get your creativity moving.

After that, there will be different exercises each month, exploring a range of writing skills and developing your imagination, and expanding your writer's toolkit.

As a writer, I have found writing groups invaluable in developing my art. At first, it can feel like there's so much to learn - a bit like learning to drive, where your hands and feet have to be in different places at once, but with time, it becomes second nature.

In our group, we can examine and work on all those exciting skills through fun exercises and immersive writing in a relaxed and easy-going atmosphere.
