The experience:
Unleash your team’s creativity with this immersive Graffiti Workshop led by Graft—Bristol’s expert collective of mural artists and educators. Over two hands-on hours, your group will dive into the vibrant world of street art:
• Explore graffiti’s roots—from its origins in the USA to Bristol’s legendary scene
• Learn to design your own tag and graffiti name board
• Try both stencil-spraying and freehand techniques
• Create a personalised canvas to take home as a lasting memory
• Set within the atmospheric surroundings of The Island—a former police station turned art venue—this experience offers a unique backdrop that adds to its creative energy

Practical details:
Location: The Island, Nelson Street, Bristol (former police station)
Duration: Approximately 2 hours
Group Size:: Minimum spend covers up to 5 participants, maximum 50 participants. Larger groups (50+) and events can be catered for on request.

On the day
Your hosts will provide protective equipment that you can wear during the experience (apron, gloves and mask), but you may not want to wear your best clothes just in case of accidents.

Graft was founded in 2012 by husband and wife team Rob and Sophie Wheeler. Since turning their passion for graffiti and street art into a successful business, they have welcomed Colette, Jasmine and Ramona to the team as workshop leaders.
Graft is a small team of mural artists founded on education, engagement, craft, and, above all, sharing. Sharing their passion, knowledge and skills, and sharing other people’s stories and expertise too.
All of Graft's workshops are led by professional artists and experienced teachers. Workshop packages offer an authentic, in-depth experience of Bristol graffiti and street art. All of Graft's staff hold up-to-date Enhanced DBS clearance and public liability insurance.
