Give your feet a rest from shopping and join us for a fun, festive workshop where you’ll design and customise your very own Christmas stocking.

Choose from our selection of beautiful stockings and make it your own. We’ll provide all equipment plus sustainably sourced, quality fabrics and a vintage haberdashery bar. No sewing skills? No problem. Our experienced tutors will guide you every step of the way, sharing simple techniques and plenty of creative inspiration.

You’ll leave with a gorgeous, handmade, sustainable Christmas stocking as a souvenir of your time in Bath.

On the day

Please arrive up to 5 minutes in advance of the time of the workshop. No previous sewing experience is needed. The venue is on Great Pulteney Street in central Bath so easily walkable from the train station. There are numerous car parking options in central Bath.

Can't make it? We understand things happen! You can cancel and get a full refund up to 30 days before your experience.

Fran Forsyth (She/Her)

Fran is passionate about sustainable textiles and has training in sewing, upholstery and zero waste fashion. Following a successful career in law, she combines her love of making with promoting the changes needed to tackle waste in the textiles industry.

Jan Periton Dunning (She/Her)

Jan is a qualified Art and D&T specialist with more than ten years' experience teaching in schools and galleries. Prior to this, she worked in the fashion industry. A life-long maker, she's also a photographer and published author.
