Join this immersive learning experience to up-skill yourself in the art and science of making medicine with wild plants - find out which flowers you can make into delicious cordials and syrups!
What to expect:
You'll start the experience with a foraging walk to explore the different healing plants around over the spring months. You'll learn how to identify and harvest these fragrant medicines, which look-a-likes to avoid and how to leave enough for the rest of nature.
You’ll then take to the wildcrafting station to make a unique wild blend with the plants you have seen and gathered on your walk. You will discuss the multiple ways to make medicine from different herbs, combining taste and properties so you can make sure your creations are delicious and powerful to take home and enjoy.
Expect to unearth the delights of sustainable foraging and plant identification throughout the day and learn how to infuse herbs properly to extract medicinal properties from the plants. This is invaluable knowledge that will last you a lifetime!
